SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST, CareWorks Technologies (Columbus, Ohio)
· Consulting engagement with Limited Brands, La Senza, and International Export Group
(IEG). Worked on multiple projects requiring advanced Excel 2010 and Access macros and
development of new Assortment Planning and Reporting tools, using Visual Basic
programming along with Query Tables and PivotTables for reporting.
· Delivered dynamic user-friendly tools to plan and report store level product allocations by
partner franchisee and push results to an Oracle database for higher level roll up reporting.
· Initial project and user acceptance testing completed October 2012 with excellent feedback
and no major callouts.
· Significant accomplishments: New assortment tool for IEG that submits to an Oracle
database for roll up reporting; Lump Sum refresh and submit, automated Size Break
workbooks; TXT file extracts of Size Breaks to import to SAP and the new La Senza Global
consolidation tool; Assortment data building and pivot reporting; Item master database
creation and update process; Country budget workbook enhancements and consolidation;
Line Plan choice validation; VBA program to populate SLR reports with Line Plan data;
Automated Units Per Average Store reports by country/group; a Top 25 Styles report, using
PivotTables linked by slicers, for any range of weeks from an OLAP cube; Weekly Store
Sales Report with back door queries to the new data warehouse; extracted data from multiple
workbooks using both VBA and SQL, then summarized with PivotTables; various other ad
hoc reporting requests, process improvements, troubleshooting, and training.
· Based on my outstanding performance, the initial 8-week contract was extended multiple
times, ultimately lasting 18 months. After the assignment ended, I was involuntarily
terminated from CareWorks Technologies, due to lack of work.

· Major responsibilities: reporting tool development for diverse functional areas, instructor for
advanced Excel and MicroStrategy training, business decision support, customer support,
system troubleshooting, project management, and automating processes.
· Consistently met and exceeded management and business expectations for fundamental
competencies in areas of teamwork, strategic thinking, customer service, credibility, integrity,
and results orientation. I served internal customers in different functional areas including,
Finance, Planning, Allocation, Marketing, Merchandising, and Sourcing.

· Business ceased operations and filed for bankruptcy in October 2008.
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, Exel Logistics - Americas, (Westerville, Ohio)
· Contributing member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team responsible for supporting
internal customers overseeing $6 billion in revenue worldwide.
· Delivered optimal internal customer service by anticipating needs and providing reporting,
budgeting, and analysis solutions in multiple currencies using Hyperion Enterprise, Essbase,
and Retrieve.
· Analyzed lease commitments, prepared statutory reporting, and inter-company consolidations.
· Office moved to another county, which created a commuting hardship.

· Headed downsizing efforts from a costly, obsolete NCR mini-computer system to the distributed
processing environment of a Novell network resulting in increased efficiency and reduced cost.
· Directed evolution of accounting functions from a manual system, through a self-developed,
semi-automatic system using Lotus 1-2-3, to the final objective of a fully-automated, integrated,
computerized system using Great Plains and RealWorld accounting software.
